Macbook pro 10.6.8

Firefox 48.0.2

I thought I asked this question in this forum pre-Irma, but I can't find it. So try again.

Is there a way I can embed the date in a webpage that doesn't show the date when I save it as an html?

90% sure that you can't do that, but can only check on which date has the html page been saved to your computer.:)

Thanks Just_One_Question. Someone ought to write a little web app that would do that - or an app for non-programmer types to retrieve the date if it's in the metadata somewhere already.

Yup, I just haven't seen anyone apart from you ever demanding that feature, so I guess there isn't enough demand to be done, unfortunately.:(
