Dear Experts

Sometime I need to share some URLs (news , technologies,,,,tec) via email to friends and co-works

But what happens when they receive emails and click on the links , those links won't reveal the real topics!!!

Why this happens ? How can we share links via email ?

Thnaks

What do you mean by this - that the links are not opening or that they are openinig but in the wrong web-sites ?

I don't know if all email systems by default inactivate links, I know some do mine included. If I click on a link in an email I will get a pop-up asking if I want to activate links. If I click 'Yes' then the link will work. The other way of doing this is to copy the link and paste it into a new browser tab.

Send yourself an email with one or two of these links in it then see if the links in the email take you to the web-site you copied the link from.

Occasionally you will find a search result has been hijacked but pretty rarely. The last time it happened to me was about 15 years ago when I was looking for PCB design software. Let's just say what looked like a possible supplier took me somewhere else entirely. But I believe that there is malware that can hijack browser links. I would suggest you run a scan with Malwarebytes - a free download from BC - and see what it comes up with. If it finds anything that it cannot deal with itself start a topic in the 'Am I infected?' section of BC. Give basic details of your computer and OS and describe your problem.
