Hi,  I'm having a problem where

~ once every hour the active window I'm on will lose focus.

Sometimes if I'm typing or moving the mouse at the time another window will gain focus or focus will stay lost..

The time isn't exact and seems to be based on when I last opened my computer.

At first i thought the problem was the OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerRegistration task but after disabling it, the problem persists.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thank you.

While looking around about this I saw this at the bottom of this (busy) page

I encountered this kind of issue.

I used this workaround to fix it up.
-Run regedit as admin.
-Search for HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop
- Alter ForegroundLockTimeout  (default : 0x00030d40 )
- Set up a higher value : 0x001e8480   for instance
That does the trick for me.

I updted the foregroundlocktimeout in registry and that seems to have helped. in the past few days i've only seen the switching activity happen 3 times instead of hourly (probably due to other reasons)

thanks a ton for your help!

This problem is back (should i create a new thread?) and is now occurring at a higher frequency. Multiple times per hour, sometimes within a minute or so. I've watched it switch to other apps while not touching the keyboard.
