:thumbsup: what do I need to do?
the screen blackens then defaults to low or med.
I go into the settings to restore to high.
I scanned for viruses-none.
do not know why this happens.
help!

by low or med i am guessing your color depth?
256=low 16-bit=med 32bit=high?
or are you talking about the resolution?

what kind of video card do you have?
how old is it?
how recently have you updated the drivers for it?
how recently have you updated directx?
