This morning I had just a flashing icon and when I hit ctr alt del it said no BOOTMGR. I did a quick google search and accessed diagnostics and got the picture posted here. PLEASE help. If this is beyond repair please let me know if I would be wasting my time trying to fix it. Thanks.

This appears to be a warning that the hard drive is dead/dying (the SMART stuff).

See if you can run these bootable tests:  http://www.carrona.org/initdiag.html

If your system has a UEFI (most likely if the system came with W8 or W10), then you'll have to adjust settings in the UEFI to access the hard drive diagnostics.

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

I have the Knack. **  If I haven't replied in 48 hours, please send me a message. My eye problems have recently increased and I'm having difficult reading posts. (23 Nov 2017)FYI - I am completely blind in the right eye and ~30% blind in the left eye.<p>If the eye problems get worse suddenly, I may not be able to respond. If that's the case and help is needed, please PM a staff member for assistance.
