Hi all,

Sent to this section of the forum after initially believing my laptop had a malware problem. The reason I suspected this is because Avira wouldn't run, the WIndows Security Center was disabled, and Search Indexing was turned off (and couldn't be turned back on).

These problems persisted after performing a factory reset of the laptop. The helper from the malware section suggested I download the tool from here https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10 and perform the upgrade. However I ran into error 0x8007043c. Trying to update from the Update and Security section of the settings also doesn't work as the search produces no results.

I'm attaching two logs to the post which the helper from the malware section said might be useful. Please note that the date on any logs I attach may be incorrect due to the reset.

Thanks for your time and any help would be greatly appreciated.
