Few days ago, my laptop started to die by overheating but this time I have my fan next to heat vent, cooler under the laptop and cpu's cooler that have speed of 1900+ rpm in the morning and 2000+ in the night (according to Advanced SystemCare Performance Monitor). Before this, when I play a heavy game the CPU and mainboard will go over 80 celcius but it wont shutdown by panic since I have my fan and coolers.

Last time I remembered, the temp will not go higher as I opened any web or applications. But now, it will just get higher like I play a heavy game and after minutes the laptop will shutdown by panic rather than before this situations happened. Could it be because I didn't clean my laptop from dust? Or is it because something wrong with the bridges? Please help me I'm not very good at computer things...

Laptop Model: Acer Aspire 4741G

Laptop Specs:

Windows 7 Home Premium

Intel Core i5 M 450 @ 2.40GHz ( CPU )

4GB Ram

64-bit Operating System

Nvidia GeForce 310M ( GPU )

Btw, the laptop is kinda old and I think it might connected to this problem...

Yup, there's a 50% chance that it's overheating due to dust accumulation, especially if it's never been opened and cleaned out. Do it yourself if you know how to and if you don't, it costs like 10$ at a computer repair shop and they should return it to you either the same or the following day.:)

your first problem is the advanced systemcare software itself, these optimizers often contain malware/adware and will actually cause your system to work harder and run hotter.

run malwarebytes, JRT (junkware removal tool) & ADWcleaner all available in the download section of this website.

let us know your results of the scans.

and i'm willing to bet you find quite a bit of malware/adware installed.

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
List last 10 Event Viewer log
  List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy taking care to post the link of the snapshot in your next post.

Go to Piriform's website, and download the free version on the left.  Click Download from Piriform.com (the FileHippo link requires an extra click). Or if you want to use a portable version of Speccy (which doesn't require installation), click the builds page link and download the portable version. You will now be asked where you want to save the file. The best place to put it is the Desktop, as it will be easy to find later.

After the file finishes downloading, you are ready to run Speccy. If you downloaded the installer, simply double-click on it and follow the prompts until installation is complete. If you downloaded the portable version, you will need to unzip it before use. Right-click the ZIP file and click Extract all. Click Next. Open up the extracted folder and double-click on Speccy.

Once inside Speccy, it will look similar to this (with your computer's specifications, of course):

post-33068-0-86653600-1480692866_thumb.j

Now, at the top, click File > Publish Snapshot.

Click Yes > then Copy to Clipboard

Now, once you are back in the forum topic you are posting in, click the ADD REPLY or REPLY TO THIS TOPIC button. Right-click in the empty space of the Reply box and click Paste. Then, click Add Reply below the Reply box.

Along with a good vent cleaning, consider using an external usb-powered cooling fan assembly (one giant fan or twin fans).  Both of my laptops have this chill device and while things get warm, no more shutdowns.

(,,,and follow Hamluis' advice :)   )

Why did you clean install on the 8th?  What problems were you having...what made you think that a clean install would cure those problems?

Max temperature for your CPU is 105 Celsius, average temp is 80 Celsius...which is high but not system-threatening.  At the least, I would say that laptop needs to be cleaned of dust.  MB temp is 99 Celsius.

i agree.  i have cleaned my laptop fans of dust  twice.  and i have a laptop cooling device  cooling pad whatever you call it.  doesnt do much for my cpu or gpu temps.  but it certainly cools the motherboard and the hdd i have.  the lappy always needs to be well ventilated.  sitting it on pillows or soft surfaces will kill it with overheating.

anyway you already have fans running into it.   if you havent ever cleaned the dust out it will be full of it.
