Hi.

First of all, thank you for having deleted my four posts on the forum, I couldn't post and so kept pressing the button, which resulted in double posts. Again, my apologies.

I want to ask about the program GoToWebinar Opener.exe and why it is detected as a trojan by some antiviruses ? I put in on virustotal and I got two positives (from a total of 65).

Worse, this seems to be a persistent problem : every version of this program is detected by as many as 6 antivirus programmes. Does it have something to do with the "remote access features" ?

You can check it by yourself, even the download link is detected by some antiviruses.

I want to know why this happens. Is this application recording info from my computer without me being aware of it ? Why is it detected as a virus ?

Thanks and best regards.

Few positives out of 65 is not much. It can happen.

I'd suggest posting in their forum: https://community.gotomeeting.com/gotomeeting/categories/collaboration_gotowebinar

I wouldn't but it's still a good idea to report it at their forum.
