Hi all, I have a problem with my speaker. When i go to the mediaplayer it say there no audio device detected. So does that mean there no soundcard in my CPU or is it was not install properly as i bought this CPU in pre assemble(u knw where we chose the hardware and the person fix it).

And another things is if there really no sound card in my CPU, does that mean i have to buy the soundcard and install it myself?

well, you can figure out if you have on board audio if you look up the type of your mother board, then just goodle it. If it does have onboard audio look up the driver, download install. if not then yes you will proble have to buy something

Let us know the make and model of your system (or the make and model of the motherboard if it was custom built) and we can look it up for you.

If you don't know any of this info, here's a nice free tool that'll list this info for you. Then you can copy and paste the report into your next post:
