Hi all, today i tried to play PUBG at my computer, the performance was rather poor even at very low settings so i just called it quits.After 2 hours or so,i went to buy a drink and when i came back home my screen wasn't turning on,i thought it was because in sleep mode and stuck there but apparently, after restarting the pc my screen would remain black.I removed the cable from the GPU and used the on board graphics and to my surprise the screen turned on.It looks like i fried my GPU right ? confused.gif  .I had some issues with the computer, every time i played cs:go/Lol it was very noisy,i thought it was going to explode !I read that it was because i had the manufacters fans or sth. Here is my build, any advice is appreciated,i don't know where to begin and what to replace,is it gpu?motherboard?Power supply?

i would start by removing the GPU card and give it a good cleaning,

remove any dust and debris from the fan(s) and heat sink assemblies,

It would help if you post the operating system your are running.

In Windows 8.1 and 10...

Using the integrated graphics boot the computer into Safe Mode.

Shut down the computer and reinstall the dedicated graphics card and restart the computer.

In Windows 7 attach the dedicated graphics card and use the F8 key to boot into Safe Mode.

Does the graphics card work in Safe Mode?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Hi,i am using windows 8.1 .I tried to install the drivers but the amd radeon software doesn't install them cause it doesn't detect the gpu as it should.

@Mike i did what you said and still the same.

The green light on the GPU is ON and its fan is also working !

Any ideas?

Thanks for your replies,i appreciate it.

The GPU doesn't work in safe mode either.I am not able to re-install the drivers because the AMD software that does this job gives me an alert and stops. It says that it didn't detect the visual graphics as it should?I have windows 8.1

You do not need to post my previous posts.

Press the Windows key windows-key.png  and the X key to open the Windows Mobility Center menu.

When the menu opens select Device Manager.

Scroll down to Display Adapters and click/tap on it.

Double click on your display adapter, click/tap on the Driver tab, then select Update driver.

Select the option to search online for the driver.
