How to do you connect a PS4 to a old SDTV. I have an HDMI cord. I hooked it to an old laptop thinking maybe I could use that as a monitor, but I don't really know what I'm doing. I also hooked it to the HDMI port on the back of my ps3, and then hooked it to the tv, and still nothing. I know I'm probably going to have to buy a HDMI converter, but for right now what can I do with what I have? Thanks.

Nothing you can do and if you connect the PS4 to a SDTV using a converter the text would be so small it would be almost unreadable.
