Whats the deal with SCRIPT errors in I.E.?

Lately a couple of pages stop loading and I get the " long running script errors" and the web page freezes. If I choose to close the error box, the page reloads to the same spot and will not move. What do I need to do..to view the webpages without these problem script errors.

I turn off script debugging.

Did as you advised....did not have any "Manage add/ons" listed. I did follow your notes for  checking/unchecking.....
