Hi,
I'm not a total newbie to the anti-spyware process, and I removed a few minor entries myself from the HijackThis list, however as you will see there are a huge number of O18's directing to what appears to be the same program/dll...I'm not certain that this is necessary but I don't want to risk anything there.

Temp files have been removed, I've run SB:S&D, Adaware, I keep SpywareBlaster up to date, I've performed a full Symantec scan just today, and I defragged 2 days ago.

Hi and welcome to Bleeping Computer! My name is Sam and I will be helping you.

Those lines are not malicious, but they can be fixed with no adverse affect. Many times you will see the helper suggest that those lines be fixed just in order to get them out of the log so it's easier to read and analyze.

Another way to handle it would be to just uninstall Logitech Desktop Manager. It's a huge resource hog and certainly not necessary to run.

Logitech Desktop Messenger is a program that checks for updates to Logitech software (mice, keyboards, etc.). The updates do not come very often and you can always check for them manually.

Does that help you? :flowers:

Failing to respond back to the person that is giving up their own time to help you not only is insensitive and disrespectful, but it guarantees that you will never receive help from me again. Please thank your helpers and there will always be help here when you need it!

I've never actually run the Messenger program, so I havent seen any suggestion to fix it.
I've uninstalled the Desktop Messenger though, and there's definitely a difference.
Thanks!

I assume there is nothing else inside the log that is malicious that I may have missed?

No need to reply if there isn't - I have the topic set to email me, so if I don't get an email I'll assume I'm all set.
Thanks again!
