Hi Friends,

Today I had this window pop up while my wife was browsing the Internet, talking about "Microsoft Alert zeus virus has infected your system and trying to steal..."... etc.

This isn't legit, right? I just got rid of some obnoxious Adware a week or so ago (my most recent thread)....

I took a screenshot of it if you want to see it. But I'm not sure how to upload it..

Help please!

Thank you!

Nope, It isn't. No company will give you a pop-up with a legitimate warning of a virus. Because everyone knows it is usually a scam. I strongly suggest avoiding it at all costs. Additionally, you can get uBlock in your browser. It will prevent ad-spread malware, malicious pop-ups and is overall a great tool against annoying ads. Until we get normal ad policies, I see no other way.
