Hey all.

I was wondering if it is possible to use batch/command line script to activate Windows 7? (With a legitimate key)

The reason I ask is because A friend of mine is having trouble activating Windows 7 themselves and it would be far easier for me to send them a .bat that they can run and activate it that way.

Here's the script I would use to activate it via command line, is there a way to make execute it in bat?

C:\Windows\System32> slmgr.vbs -ipk "INSERT-YOUR-PRODUCT-KEY"

# Activate Windows
C:\Windows\System32> slmgr.vbs -ato

It's super easy to program a batch file with two commands, but I suggest (to save time), just get them to run this script posted on GitHub:

https://github.com/mgiljum/Windows7-OEM-Activator

Looked through the code and it's perfectly safe.

Thanks Bwv, just what I needed.

Could you help me out with the bat file too?

Just In case. I have a feeling they may get intimidated by this program.
