After the updates were installed overnight, my E6410 would not boot. Press the Power button and the laptop hard drive and battery lights light up for a few seconds, then the laptop powers off. The Dell splash screen does not come on. I tried removing all devices (hd, RAM, ROM drive) but the same scenario occurs. I tried pressing the FN key and Power button simultaneously and get a Diagnostic Test screen (the Cap Locks, Numlock and Scroll Lock keys all light up). A full diagnostic test did not uncover any problems with Hard Drive, ROM Drive, nor RAM problems. I'm at a loss of what is the problem. My first thought was a bad motherboard but the Dell Diagnostic Test did not reveal anything.  I welcome any recommendations.  Thanks for any assistance.

Finally got laptop to respond positively.  Installed new RAM and new battery; reimaged laptop with Windows 7 Pro then upgraded it to Windows 10 Pro.  So far, E6410 is responding well.
