Hello,

I am trying desperately to remove altogether OneDrive on my computer (to install it fresh again).

I uninstalled it via the Control Panel programs and features.

I changed the value to 0 of System.IsPinnedToNameSpaceTree under the registry key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}.

Still I have this icon on my Explorer:

Attached File  PAXm2eA.png   25.34KB   0 downloads

The text (32-Bit) appeared after I hacked the registry.

I tried to execute this (as seen from this forum)

C:\WINDOWS\system32>DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 10.0.15063.0

Image Version: 10.0.15063.0

[==========================100.0%==========================] The restore operation completed successfully.
The operation completed successfully.

But with no success.

If I right chick on it, I get an error message "The Class is not registered".

I tried cleaning the Registry with Wise registry Cleaner, with no results.

Can someone help me in removing that icon?

Now I'm embarrassed.  :orange:

I've restated my machine and one icon went away.

Ran the Registry Cleaner a few more times, restated my machine and the second Icon went away.

Please use this as a guide on removing the OneDrive and all it's icons.

Hi, well no, using a reg cleaner is the last thing you should be doing, all it has done is rip entries out of the registry when with a little patience we would have told you what reg mod's you needed. I hope you know how to reinstall onedrive, that cleaner may well have done irreparable damage to your system. If you intend to reinstall it , why did you have to uninstall it, to repair it Onedrive can be reset. Leaving those items would have made no difference, since a reinstall will bring them back. If you wanted to be properly rid of it you have to do a lot more then use programs and features.
