This computer cant run good games above 20 frames. Why?

I know this is not to many specs, I don't see why this shouldn't be able to run many games. An example of a game failing was when I installed Player unknowns battle grounds and could only get 20 frames at top.

 

Intel core i7-5500U CPU 2.4 GHz 

8 gb installed ram

64 bit 

Nvidia GEforce GTX 950M

How is your internet connection?

 

Have you updated the nvidia drivers?

Try lowering the resolution and/or graphics quality/texture settings within the game? A 950 Mobile will likely rival a desktop 1030 in speed, so, I doubt 1080P will be attainable...


BUt, first we'd want to see if the GTX950M is detected with drivers properly installed, etc....
 
Many a system had performance botched when a WIn10 Creators Update was installed...
