Pretty much the title. I was given a copy of kmspico by a friend and was told that he used it the night before and everything worked fine. I opened the installer, and it prompted me to open a link to receive a password to continue. I promplty closed the installer due to the fishy nature of the whole password thing, and immediately a bunch of applications began installing, and ads popping up. attempted to system restore to a past point, and it would not allow me to, giving me an error code 0x80070091.

I've read some recent posts on this forum about the same issue, so i have done some work in advance for it.

I ran malware bytes, here is the log:

No need to reply to this, I ended up deciding to wipe the pc entirely and start over.

Thanks for letting us know!
How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
