ByteFence is blocking downloads but I didn't install it.

I'm trying to download a student edition of QuickBooks but I keep getting this error: "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.". Is ByteFence blocking this download? What can I do to resolve this issue?

Uninstall ByteFence. It is a PUP and not needed.
