My friend was using a pretty new Epson c88 and all of a sudden it just stopped printing. I tried everything, I thought it was because of windows update from windows 7 to Windows 10. I had to get her a new printer.

I brought it to my home and connected it to my windows 7 laptop. Still printing blank pages. Connections are good, drivers are installed, there is ink in all the cartridges.

It sends signal to printer and starts printing the document, pdf, or photo but they are all blank. Head cleaner, etc go through the paces but not even faint printing.

Someone said to clean heads or the well of some sort with alcohal but that does not seem right. It seems like it should be simple but it's not.

Any thoughts here?

Thanks

Bruce

See the following video. If the print heads are badly clogged then doing a standard print head cleaning through software will not work. Unfortunately, the print head cannot be removed like a canon printer. Watch the full video before attempting a cleaning.

Also these video. If using a syringe do not use too much pressure.
