Hello guys!

I have recently bought a new PC:

  • CPU              - Ryzen 5 1600
  • MOBO          - MSI B350 Pro Carbon
  • RAM             - Corsair Vengrance 2x4 3000MHz
  • PSU              - Be Quiet 10 600W
  • CPU Cooler  - Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 3
  • Case             - Phanteks P400S
  • Toshiba 256SSD

Now I need to chose a new GPU, I think a GTX 1070 will be great for me, now I just have to pick the factor I want:
MSI Gaming X or Palit Gamerock Premium?

Maybe any better suggestion? As far as I got to know, MSI is quieter and cooler. Am i wrong?

I would go with EVGA as they have a great reputation.

Just be warned GPU's are still on the high side so you may wish to go lower grade on your GPU.

Even the 1060's are still a little high so maybe a 1050ti may do for you,.

Its a great GPU even for that processor.

Here in Poland (Where I live) these two have normal prices (2000/2200zł), about 450$ which is great as for prices we have here ;-;
EVGA is still 2500/3000zł, so about 600$ :/

Yeah that can be an issue.

Well then MSI would be the one I would go for.

To say even more: Gigabyte 1080 costs about 2400zł, so less than EVGA 1060 here ;-;
I know, it's just Poland, don't ask...

Yes, 1060 is about 50zł less than 1070 xD

Actually it is in line with some of the GPU prices recently thanks to etherium mining, its starting to return to nrmal but yeah I can imagine some areas not getting good prices such as Poland and Australia.

I mean, in Poland GPU mining exploded, and I think it is still not enought to say "exploded". Like almost everyone started to make deals with Bitcont, Zcash or Ethernum, miners went from like none to lots of in a couple of days, people were like: "Oh, let me buy a 100 of RX 580"

if playing at only 1080P, a 1060 (6 gb) will perhaps have some longevity, but a 1050/1050Ti does pretty well today in a variety of titles...; the RX580 is faster than the fastest 1060Ti in most games...

The GTX1070 is quite a but faster than all the above, and worthy of 1440P gaming.....

Let your wallet be your guide...and good luck!
