Hi there,

I recently did a clean install of Windows 10 Home and activated it using KMSpico (You're probably shaking your head and saying "well there's your problem right there") and I knew this could cause issues so apologies. I hope you can still help.

The issue is that I cannot type anything into search fields/boxes in MS Edge or the Cortana search bar.

There doesn't seem to be an issue with other browsers or Windows Explorer other than everything seems to be running a bit slower than I'd expect for a PC with this spec (1.65Ghz processor, 4GB RAM)

I ran Malwarebytes Anti-malware and Windows Defender and also scanned in safe mode which eliminated the obvious threats. I also checked CCleaner and SlimCleaner for startup hijacks and did all driver updates with SlimDrivers so as far as I know it's clean; I just cannot solve this one.

Any help much appreciated thanks guys.
