I am unable to remove winmgr105.exe.  Also, it keeps installing itself in windows startup, I disable and remove it from startup but it keeps reappearing.

I think this is causing random quick popups and switching window 'focus'.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hello Art, we need to get a deeper look. Please follow this Preparation Guide and post in a new topic.
Let me know if all went well..

Boopme - thanks.  I followed the guide but I am unable to post a new topic.  Message says I don't have permission for that action.

You do not have permission to post in the other forum?

Correct.  I followed the preparation guide and have attempted to post in the "Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs" forum based on the link in the preparation guide.  I reply per the guide and get the error: "I don't have permission for that action."

Crazy.....

Try posting your log in a Spoiler box.. It may contain words that the system blocks.

In new  topic

Copy your log

Click the Leftmost icon in top row

Then click the 3rd icon, to Font on left.

Select Spoiler

Paste log into that.

Frustrating.  Tried your instructions and have no luck.  Still getting the same error:

Sorry, you don't have permission for that!

Well, I actually poked around the file in the startup and noticed my computer had blocked it saying it may have been harmful since it came from another computer (or something like that). I unblocked it and I was able to uninstall it. So far so good. I can't seem to locate it anymore.

If it comes back I'll let you know but thanks for your help!
