I currently use a Samsung Note 3 which is dying.  The  dial pad  is easy to see because it is big and white numbers on a black background.  I have looked at  3 or 4 different phones but they all have small black numbers on a white background  which I struggle to see.  I was told that there is an app that might change the colors of the dial pad but have not seen it.

I was thinking of buying the  Samsung J7 Pro  but I need to figure  this out first

any suggestions well appreciated

Virtually any Android Theme I've ever used will change the color scheme of the dial pad.  I just went from black numbers on a light background to white numbers in a completely different font and size on a deep red-brown background.

Look into the themes your candidate device scan support and take a look at the screen shots of the dial pad.

This might help you: Samsung has accessibility support, they are available to call or email.

I'm sure that the accessibility team would assist you with any of your questions related to vision and the
best Samsung phone model for your situation. Doing so might save you time searching via the Internet for apps etc.

Email:  Accessibility Team via email at accessibility@sea.samsung.com
Phone Numbers: 1-972-761-7123 or 1-888-987-4357

Samsung’s Accessibility Team supports customers with vision, hearing, mobility, speech and cognitive needs.
Samsung customers with technical support, promotions, product sales questions should call 1-888-987-4357

Good luck!
