i have a file that is 46mb or so and i compressed it using both RAR and Zip and they are at 38.6. now yahoo has a limit of 10mb. is there a way i can break up the file and email the person parts of it and have a compiler compile the files so it plays? i know there are programs out there that do that but im not sure what they are called. please help. thanks.

What type of files are they?

Try searching these freeware sites for a "file splitter":

You should be able to find something that suits your needs.

You also may be able to upload the files to a pic hosting site that doesn't have the limitation and just send the link to it with Yahoo.

Easiest solution is Dropload.com or YouSendIt.com. You upload the file there and it sends an email to the recipient that it's waiting for them.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
