Confused w/ heatsink combatability

Looking to order a heatsink ( air ) or possibly liquid cooler.
I'm confused on how to filter my searches on newegg.

I believe sockets FM1/FM2/FM2+/AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+ all use the same heat sink fitment.  So generally you'll find a recent cooler for an AMD CPU will list all those sockets as compatible (be aware AM4 is different however).  Many universal fit coolers will be supplied with fitting hardware for most recent AMD and Intel processors.
