How do I make the repair disc do anything when i restart the computer?

In order to boot from the repair disc you may need to change the boot order in the BIOS so that the CD/DVD is the first device in the boot order and the ssd/hdd the second device.  After you have made these changes press the F10 key to keep the changes you make.

 

When you are finished with the repair you will need to go back to the BIOS and change the boot order back to the default settings.  Once again you will want to save these changes by pressing the F10 key before exiting the BIOS.
