Please help me out. I am under the thread of "Haven't Had A Reply In Five Days?", and at posted as a reply probably at the end of July of this summer (06). I am still getting a reply every time that someone replies and want to stop, because I don't need to see the email of everyone who makes it to that thread.

My mail says
pacificoast,

Hi Scarlett,

If I do that, don't I have to stop receiving email from all topics?

And why didn't I get one from this topic?

Thanks,
pacificoast

The setting I directed you to in your profile, is a setting for recieving an e-mail notification for each and every topic you start or reply to.
So unless you wish to be notified of every one. Then leave it unchecked.

Control panel > Options (last block on left) > e-mail settings > board preferences
Enable 'Email Notification' by default?
If ticked, choose default type:
Enabling this option will automatically subscribe you to any topic you start or reply to.

To be able to recieve an e-mail for a specific topic you have eiether replied to or started.
Under your reply box, you will find:
Enable emoticons?
Enable signature?
Enable email notification of replies?

Just check the corresponding box that applies.

I hope that helps.
