When (touch wood here) your system freezes, Windows XP SP2 allows you to view what processes are running by clicking the green screen in the clock box.
How can I view this information at my leisure?

HP Pavilion
PIII
XP SP2

Thanks
Greg

That green box in the system tray is an indication that Task Manager is running on your system already. Double click on the box and Task Manager will restore itself - then click on the Processes tab to see what processes are running.
