Hi.

I seriously need help for my Sony VGN-FW56GF.

It was originally a Windows 7 but I upgraded it to Windows 10 for free.

But then suddenly today, my pc just crashed so I had to force shut down it.

When I tried to turn it on back, it greeted me with the message 'Error loading operating system'.

I tried reformatting the C disk and other partition disks but they said,

Something about windows 10 is not supported.

I ran a full hardware check on the laptop but there were no errors.

I seriously need help by today as I need it for my school assignment.

Your help is much appreciated!

Hi guys. I fixed it myself.

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/windows-could-not-complete-the-installation-to/bf09c3c5-298b-459f-aed5-4f431b8398f5

This is the solution that I used after many different solutions:

SHIFT-F10 to bring up command prompt.

type:  CD C:\windows\system32\oobe

type msoobe

enter

Make a generic account and password.  hit finish (if it requests a product key and you have one, enter it now.  if OEM/No key required, just finish).  Set time/date.  Finish.

Restart.

Should be good to go.

Fixed everything. Hope it wont die again ahaha
