What it looks like, it's part hardware and part software, but hoping I can see what can be done with the hardware that doesn't require replacing. The cost and age the machine is not worth it. I have considered taking it to a repair place to have a checkup and cleaning service (of the inside of the chassis).

I've done all the basic steps to check and perform for slow computer issues. Updated, running performance diagnosis/disk cleanup tools, running second opinion scanners (AV is always actively running).

Still having issues. I just got done opening the Windows "Resource and Performance Monitor" tool and ran a test and have the diagnosis from that, but the html document the report was saved on does not look as nice.

https://justpaste.it/198mp

So I guess I'm asking if there is anything I can do to fix the errors?

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:
List last 10 Event Viewer log
  List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy taking care to post the link of the snapshot in your next post.

Go to Piriform's website, and download the free version on the left.  Click Download from Piriform.com (the FileHippo link requires an extra click). Or if you want to use a portable version of Speccy (which doesn't require installation), click the builds page link and download the portable version. You will now be asked where you want to save the file. The best place to put it is the Desktop, as it will be easy to find later.

After the file finishes downloading, you are ready to run Speccy. If you downloaded the installer, simply double-click on it and follow the prompts until installation is complete. If you downloaded the portable version, you will need to unzip it before use. Right-click the ZIP file and click Extract all. Click Next. Open up the extracted folder and double-click on Speccy.

Once inside Speccy, it will look similar to this (with your computer's specifications, of course):

post-33068-0-86653600-1480692866_thumb.j

Now, at the top, click File > Publish Snapshot.

Click Yes > then Copy to Clipboard

Now, once you are back in the forum topic you are posting in, click the ADD REPLY or REPLY TO THIS TOPIC button. Right-click in the empty space of the Reply box and click Paste. Then, click Add Reply below the Reply box.

Look in the Device Manager to see if there are any yellow warning icons or red error icons.

Please run sfc /scannow.

The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces corrupted and incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.

Click on the Start orb, then type cmd in the Search box.

CMD will appear above the search box, right click on it and select Run as administrator.

When the Elevated Command Prompt opens copy and paste the command below, then press Enter.

sfc /scannow

To find sfc /scannow log click on File Explorer, select the drive which Windows is installed on (this usually is the C: drive), click on Windows, then Logs, then CBS.  If there are more than one log you can identify the log you want by the date and time it was run.

Copy and paste the log at the host website I've suggested below.

This log usually is very large, for this reason you should use a host website like Dropbox to post the log.  You can start a free 30 day trial.  Once you have loaded the log at Dropbox post a link to the website.

No conflicts, surprisingly, cause I did see something about a driver not working in one of my diagnostics logs, but everything looked normal on the device manager.

Here's the link to the cbs log. https://www.dropbox.com/s/bqm78l77o3j917m/CBS.log?dl=0

Please do the following to reset the Shadow Copy Service.

Click on the Start orb, then type cmd in the Search programs and files box.

cmd will appear above the search box in the results.  Right click on it and choose Run as administrator from the menu that opens.  This will open the Command Prompt.

Copy the command below, paste it in the Command Prompt, then press Enter.

Not really. Lately, that is. A couple years ago, my computer was acting very strange. There was a period of a month I was getting BSOD almost everyday, sometimes twice. I was having a lot of failed updates too. I was noticing it didn't seem as fast as it used to be. It got to a point where I had to back everything up and reinstall Windows. I even installed a new stick of memory. It crashed a few more times, then stopped.

The last two years, I've noticed the computer slowing down.

Here's the result:

Has anyone been able to find specific problems that could be easily fixable and maybe some that might be specifically hardware related to keep an eye on? I'm still looking to take my machine in for maintenance and cleaning.
