The sound on this laptop has never been anything to write home about but after this update a few days ago its almost impossible to hear videos with any degree of clarity.
Other than getting a plug-in speaker does anyone have any ideas?
The built-in speakers are "Realtek Audio" and it has enhancements sound effects that used to improve things a little but now other than adding a sort of "echo" sound they don't increase volume. They are choices like "rock quarry" "alley" "mountains" etc.
I attached 2 clips about the audio devices on the laptop that says AMD High Definition Audio not plugged in and it has said this from the very first day I got this laptop and tried to get help from Dell about it but never got anywhere they just kept asking more information.
The other clip says Real-Tek Stereo Mix Disabled and I don't know how or why I would have disabled it except by accident so I don't know how to change it.
