I clicked on a link from Google search. Bitdefender showed it as safe. As soon as I got to the site I got 2 popups: Virus notification from Windows Defender and another one with a telephone number. My computer immediately froze, I had to use the power button to shut down and restart.

All security apps have been disabled including BitDefender, Windows Defender and ADWcleaner.  I also cannot connect to my home network. Phone and tablet are on my home network but the computer is now permanently connected to a public network.

Update: After numerous tries,  today I was able to connect to my home network. I was also able to download and run Bitdefender. I did a system scan but, it did not find anything. I  re- downloaded Awdcleaner and Malwarebytes; they both start to scan but shut off half way during scan
