Hello everyone. My name is Tony it is nice to meet you. I am hoping that I am doing this right followed the instructions as well as i could attached the Sysnative thingy. Here's the Speccy Snapshot Link

I would dearly appreciate it if someone could help me figure out what is ailing my computer. i added a bunch of RAM and a new Video card as you'll see from the Report above. I have removed and re seated these properly. I download and do the updates for the graphics card as often as i can (although i do admit to not doing it every time) I dunno I get a lot of BSOD during video game playing and watching movies. just Locks up and you hear the last noise that was being made over and over until it collects enough information to laugh at you and then reboots.... I know about dump files so if you need me to get some info from those I can do that as well. Once again thanks for the help! hope we can figure this out

Your UEFI/BIOS (version A11) dates from 2015.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.
FYI - W8 and W10 communicate more with the UEFI/BIOS than previous versions of Windows, so it's important to ensure that the UEFI/BIOS is kept up to date (and the outdated UEFI/BIOS' may be the cause of some compatibility issues).

Although you appear to have a reasonable number of Windows Update hotfixes for this version of your OS, please double check for any new Windows Updates.  It only takes one update to cause a problem, so it's essential that you have all of them.  The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

This device is disabled in Device Manager.  If not needed, please uninstall it.  If it's needed, please re-enable it and update it to the latest version available.  Then feel free to disable it again if you'd like

Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Virtual Miniport Adapter for Windows x64    ROOT\NET\0001    This device is disabled.

Out of 23 memory dumps there were 10 different BSOD  (aka STOP or BugCheck) error codes.  The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things (the list is not in any sort of order).  In addition, 2 of the memory dumps specifically blame hardware:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- dirt/dust/hair/fur/crud inside the case.  Blow out the case/vents with canned air (DO NOT use an air compressor or vacuum as they can cause damage to the system)
- missing Windows Updates
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers), older systems, or even pirated systems
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from http://www.carrona.org/initdiag.html or http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html ).

Please get a head start on the hardware diagnostics - they are located here:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
Please finish ALL of them and let us know the results.

Please update these older drivers.  Links are provided in order to assist you with looking up the source of the drivers.
If unable to find an update, please uninstall the program that is responsible for that driver.

DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable!!!:

John this is amazing. so much information thank you for getting back to me on this. Seems I have quite a bit to do.  I cleaned out the machine of dirt dust and lint when i reseated the ram chips and video card so at least I got that started. I will try to follow your suggestions to the letter

This is a Dell Machine so when you say check the manufacurer's site i'm guessing you mean Dell's site? And if the computer does want to shut down during the procedure what is the proper method to update it without shutting it down?

Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Virtual Miniport Adapter for Windows x64    ROOT\NET\0001    This device is disabled.

I do VPN into my work's network from home when i work from home I think this is what allows me to do that. It gets turned on i think when I turn the VPN on. Not sure though.

nothing looked wrong on the graphic card end? cause I did install a new one recently and the problems seem to have started after I did that.  I work till 4 today and when i get home i am going to start doing what you suggested above. I will post more updates then. Thanks for your help John

Go to http://support.dell.com , it'll ask for your service code (to make it easier to find downloads).

Check the downloads section for the BIOS and see if there is an updated version.
If so, download and install it.

As it's a BIOS update, it'll have to reboot/shutdown in order to install it.

I've seen a lot of issues with the Cisco software in the past.

The best thing here (since it's needed) is to uninstall it, then download and install a fresh copy of the latest, W10 compatible version

As for the video card, what you've described is very often a video card problem.

BUT, the presence of seemingly random BSOD errors usually means either hardware, incompatibility, or low-level driver problems.

Putting them together leads us to wonder about a hardware issue with the video card.

Please start with these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Start with the video tests (Furmark and the Other video), but finish ALL of them.

Let us know the results and we'll move on from there.

Good luck!

sigh i can't upgrade the Cisco software until the Firmware on our work's ASA is upgraded which will probably happen around the time that world peace is declared... so we are stuck with what we got on that software...

Does the work IT have a fresh copy (of that version) that you can use?
My concern here is the possibility of corruption of the current copy - so uninstalling the current copy and installing a fresh copy may be able to remove corruption.

All of this is "maybe" stuff - so it's not essential (so you can leave it to the last thing that you do)

I received a PM asking for further assistance.

If you can't get these things done, here's the easiest way to do fix these things:

1)  Perform a "clean" install of Windows to see if that stops the problems:  http://www.carrona.org/canned.html#clean (this was designed for W7 and earlier, but it similar for W8 and 10)
This is different from a simple reinstall - it tries to only use Windows components.  Please read the steps at the link above.

The point of this is that you:

- don't install 3rd party software, and

- that Windows is fully installed from legitimate recovery media, that it is fully updated, and that there are no errors in Device Manager

If you continue to have errors after this procedure, then the issue is most likely hardware.

(FYI - if it fails, there's also the possibility that the restore media is corrupted - trying another copy from another source may help)

2)  If that doesn't stop the problems, then first try these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
If all of the hardware diagnostics pass, try this procedure (designed for desktops, not real easy for laptops):  http://www.carrona.org/strpdown.html

Good luck!
