My specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
AMD FX-9590
32.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 668MHz (11-11-11-28)
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (EVGA)
465GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO SDD
I also have a water cooling system to keep my CPU cool.
It usually runs around 30-40 C

Randomly my computer would freeze while playing games and running programs, so I thought for sure it was my old hard drive that I've had for 5 years. Today, I installed a fresh copy of windows 7 on my 500gb SSD and installed a few programs. Within 30 minutes, it hard froze again and I had to hard restart.

I've ran memtest64 and it showed no signs of ram failure or any issues. I'm really stuck on what is wrong and what I can do.

There's no BSOD dumps to look at either.

Any advice would be appreciated, I'm lost as what to do or order new parts for...

Regretfully, I can no longer afford to spend time analyzing systems with Windows 7 and earlier OS's.

My suggestions for those who have problems with W7 and earlier are:

1)  Perform a "clean" install of Windows to see if that stops the problems:  http://www.carrona.org/canned.html#clean
This is different from a simple reinstall - it tries to only use Windows components.  Please read the steps at the link above.

2)  If that doesn't stop the problems, then first try these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
If all of the hardware diagnostics pass, try this procedure (designed for desktops, not real easy for laptops):  http://www.carrona.org/strpdown.html

Good luck!
