Had Vosteran "infection" a year ago and thought I had it licked .... its baaack.

just for my information, what does this do concerning the

vosteran I still found and pasted in for you to see? also if it was not removed in the form I found it would it have managed to reinfect my computer or was it harmless in the form I found it in? and last ?? why did my McAfee not pick it up in all the scans it performed?

There is no perfect security program.

Did you reset Chrome?

I missed your last message, yes I did reset Chrome and all seemed Vosteran free until tonight when I opened Settings and under Appearance in the Show Home  was a string of code containing the word Vosteran. I have disabled it for the time being ......what do you recommend I do now? This is some tough item it seems. Thank you for any help you can suggest.   Blue

I suggest you reinstall Chrome following my instructions above and do not install any addons for now.
