Any files that are encrypted with Cryakl Ransomware
will have the name of the encrypted file changed using the following format.
email-[EMAIL ADDRESS].ver-[CL MALWARE VERSION].id-[UNIQUE ID]-[MONTH]@[DAY]@[YEAR] [HOUR]@[MINUTE]@[SECOND] [AM/PM].randomname-[RANDOM FILE NAME].[RANDOM EXTENSION]
(i.e. firstname.lastname@example.org.[b]ver-CL 220.127.116.11.id-@@@@@2645-AEE0[/b].randomname-FMRVBFKOSXBGLPTYCHLPUYDHLQUZDI.NRV)
Cryakl leaves files (ransom notes) named README.txt as explained here
. The ransom note instructs victims to contact the cyber-criminals at "email@example.com", "firstname.lastname@example.org", "email@example.com", "Seven_Legion2@aol.com", "firstname.lastname@example.org", "email@example.com", "firstname.lastname@example.org", "email@example.com", "firstname.lastname@example.org" or "email@example.com" to get payment instructions.Kaspersky Lab's Rannoh Decryptor
only works on certain variants of Cryakl. Unfortunately, if Kaspersky's Rannoh Decryptor does not work for the variant you are dealing with, then I am not aware of any other way to decrypt files encrypted by Cryakl without paying the ransom. If possible, your best option is to restore from backups.
There is an ongoing discussion in this topic where victims can post comments, ask questions and seek further assistance. Other victims have been directed there to share information, experiences and suggestions.
Rather than have everyone with individual topics, it would be best (and more manageable for staff) if you posted any more questions, comments or requests for assistance in the above support topic discussion...it includes experiences by experts, a variety of IT consultants, end users and company reps who have been affected by ransomware infections. To avoid unnecessary confusion, this topic is closed.

BTW...If you need individual assistance only with removing the malware infection
, follow the instructions in the Malware Removal and Log Section Preparation Guide
...all other questions or comments should be posted in the support topics. When you have done that, start a new topic and post your logs in the Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs forum
, NOT here
, for assistance by the Malware Response Team.
