Good morning,

I am infected with four Trojan.SmartService (A):

Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\INTERFACE\{E7BC34A2-BA86-11CF-84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}     detected: Trojan.SmartService (A) [287271]
Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\WOW6432NODE\INTERFACE\{E7BC34A2-BA86-11CF-84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}     detected: Trojan.SmartService (A) [287271]
Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\TYPELIB\{E7BC34A0-BA86-11CF-84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}     detected: Trojan.SmartService (A) [287272]
Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\WOW6432NODE\CLSID\{E7BC34A3-BA86-11CF-84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}     detected: Trojan.SmartService (A) [287273]

Upon removal/deletion with Emsisoft in safe mode, the trojans return when the computer is restarted.

Thank you for your assistance!

Here are the new files you requested, sir. Two threats have emerged on AdwCleaner.

--Edit 10:05 AM--

The revised AdwCleaner log with the entries "cleaned" is AdwCleaner[C13].

Is this this added after a restart of the computer?

Run the AdwCleaner and let me know.

How is the computer running?

Correct. That was added after a restart of the computer. Here are the new logs after running AdwCleaner and Emsisoft again:

The AdwCleaner search is clean.

The entries reported by Emsisoft may be remnants from an other registry sub-key.

Lets check it out.

Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) - Registry Search
Follow the instructions below to download and execute a Registry search on your system with FRST, and provide the log in your next reply.
  • Right-click on the executable and select Run as Administrator (for Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 users);
  • Accept the disclaimer by clicking on Yes, and FRST will then do a back-up of your Registry which should take a few seconds;
  • In the Search text area, copy and paste the following:
E7BC34A2-BA86-11CF-84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C
  • Once done, click on the Search Registry button and wait for FRST to finish the search;
  • On completion, a log will open in Notepad. Copy and paste its content in your next reply;

Excellent. We have managed to dwindle it down to one last key according to Emsisoft. AdwCleaner shows up as clean.

This is rather startling. It seems these trojans have regenerative properties.

Okay. Retracing all the previous steps you showed me, I was able to eliminate all but this one Trojan again:

Scan start:    7/17/2017 6:57:32 PM
Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CLASSES\WOW6432NODE\CLSID\{E7BC34A3-BA86-11CF-84B1-CBC2DA68BF6C}     detected: Trojan.SmartService (A) [287273]

I continued repeating the steps you have provided and the Trojans seem to be eradicated. Here are the latest Emsisoft and AdwCleaner logs. Is there anything else for me to do/run to make sure my computer has been fully cleaned?
