Currently my GTX 760 tends to run at 99% load during Games like Mafia 3 and about half that one lesser intensive steam games. I'm considering purchasing this card:

Any suggestions are helpful. I was between this and a 1070 but was leaning towards the 1080 since the price was about the same.

It's normal for a GPU to run at 100% when playing games. If games are stuttering too bad, you may want to upgrade. Do you use all those monitors at once in games? Do you do surround gaming?

Ah ok, I just recently started monitoring it since I was previously having some overheating issues with my CPU which have been resolved. I am noticing some stuttering on Mafia 3 but nothing too serious but was looking into upgrading anyways.

I don't usually use all 3 monitors for the game itself when I play, generally the others have a web browser up or other light software in the background like NZXT CAM that I reference to from time to time.

As someone else mentioned in the forum, you should wait until the prices gets lower. Now are a little bit above the price because ethereum mining. You may wait 3/4 months and get one then. Maybe then you could buy an second hand AMD for a lower price.
