make a set of files myself for Windows Live Mail on Windows 10?

Maybe this is not legal because Windows Live Mail is no longer available for download from M.S. and there is no more support, but can I pull the right files in the right directories and subdirectories from Windows Live Mail on Vista and put the package onto Windows 10?  I ask anyway.
