Close all email accounts that have been compromised.

 

Good reason to stay off Face Book.

And, of course, contact Facebook support to report the incident.

 

Not that I don't agree with The-Toolman if an e-mail account or accounts have been compromised, but unless you're using your e-mail address and a shared password for your e-mail account and Facebook it's entirely possible to compromise one without compromising the other.

 

I have always assiduously avoided social media of any sort.  The-Toolman, we are in the distinct minority, it seems.

Globally speaking, it would appear that we are not. However, looking at the people who are on the Internet at least once a month, we are indeed in a distinct minority. :)
