This question is related to information discussed in https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/651265/not-all-desktop-items-shown-in-file-explorer-under-desktop/

A different Windows 10 computer available here shows two paths of folders,  C:\Users\Admin\  and C:\Users\Public\, but there is NO SUCH C:\Users\username\ for the name of any user.   How could that be?    Why Admin and no username subfolder?

No accounts created yet?

That explains why.  The original user who setup the previous machine from which a support technician later transferred all-the-disk's data to the newer machine, did not create any specific User account - either did not want any or did not know how.

You would see the same thing if the account that was used on the machine was the Admin account.  That's how I set up machines for users, so that I don't have a profile on every machine.
