I want to use my 1tb hdd from my old case I have windows 7 installed on that case but on the ssd. My new upgrade I have windows 10 on a new ssd, my question is it necessary to wipe clean my 1tb hard drive because windows 7 on the ssd?

If you have no operating system installed on your 1 Tb HDD you can use it directly.

 

If you have an operating system installed on your 1 Tb HDD then you need to delete the partition that has the operating system on it.

No. Just make sure your computer boots from SSD.
