Weird Noises Coming Out Of Computer At Start Up

I just bought my computer about two months ago. And just today when I turned on my computer I kept my head near it I don't usually do that but I liked his buzzing noise is that how it's supposed to sound? If not can someone please tell me how to fix it?


Windows Xp media center

2.00 GB RAM

300 GB HD

Intel ViiV dual core processer 3.00GHz

this sounds like the fans and the harddrive spinning which if you can only hear when your head is near it, is probably normal,

if there are no other 'problems' i wouldnt worry.
