Hey hello,

I've been a gamer my whole life..I bought a gaming PC when I was 17 but for the last 10 years (due to lack of money) I've been gaming on my ps3/ps4...and now I'm back! :)

I am in the middle of the bulid process. The parts I got locked down (and please, unless it is very important don't try and change those) are:

CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-7500 Kaby Lake Box 3.4GHz

GPU: Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 ROG STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING 6GB GDDR5

PSU: Seasonic S12II-520 Bronze 520W

next I would like to deal with the memory: I am going for a 2x8gb as discussed above. I just want an input on which brand and speed..

At the store they recommended the: Kingston ValueRAM 2X8GB DDR4 2133MHz KVR21N15S8K2/16 DIMM for 160$

The 2133 MHz could be a bit too slow? In the other store they suggested a 2400Mhz memory so that might be better? I need your input on this please. Here is the link to the store if that seems not fitting for you: https://www.ivory.co.il/catalog.php?orderBy=&act=cat&id... Thanks for the help thus far.

If you got a good MoBo to suggest that will also be helpful.

I should mention I'm from Israel so the link is to a store in hebrew and the prices are very different from what I saw on the sites online like pcpartpicker..

Thanks for the help in advacne! :)

Unless there are good supply for GTX1060 if Israel, I suggest waiting until this crypto mining boom has gone over.

There is no reason to buy any i5, as AMD Ryzen is much better.

i5-7500 costs 900. This is cheaper and better https://www.ivory.co.il/catalog.php?id=21614

This is miles better and costs only 1030 https://www.ivory.co.il/catalog.php?id=21615

Motherboard for those might be https://www.ivory.co.il/catalog.php?id=21292

I'd recommend DDR4-3200 but at this time there is shortage for DDR memory, SSD drives and video cards and prices are very high. Looked at prices so DDR4-2400 seems wisest option right now.

OK, maybe I'm just weak minded d: BUT I posted the same message in another forum said the same thing why i5-7500 go with the ryzen 5 1600 so I am caving...

Current parts:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 Six Core 1600 Box 3.2GHz
GPU: Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 ROG STRIX-GTX1060-O6G-GAMING 6GB GDDR5
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2 x 8GB DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Red CMK16GX4M2B3000C15R
PSU: Seasonic S12II-520 Bronze 520W

Thoughts? And please suggest a MoBo without OC in mind, I am not planning on OC myself since I have no idea how to do it and don't wanna damage the system Thanks

Parts look quite good. As I said, video card prices are very high right now.

This motherboard looks quite good for price at that shop https://www.ivory.co.il/catalog.php?id=21292

Cool..What do you think about the nvidia gpu with amd chip? does it matter?

I am not sure if the high market price effects the costs in israel, it is generally high cost here lol

And I need a 120GB SSD for the OS.

This is a link to the store->SSD drives:https://www.ivory.co.il/ssd_hard_disk.html

If someone can find me decent that would be great :)

I would take AMD but AMD graphic cards are sold out everywhere, so go with Nvidia if you cannot wait.

There are no SATA 120GB drives, so I'd go with that https://www.ivory.co.il/catalog.php?id=21265

Much cheaper but not nearly as good and only 120GB https://www.ivory.co.il/catalog.php?id=21829

Could you find an EVGA B3 450W or 550W in your country? It's not desperately important as that Seasonic is still pretty good but getting a B3 would be great as it is much much newer.

GPU fits on that case. I would take better SSD. Other than that, system looks fine.
