HI all.

I'm an old(er) guy from Perth, in Western Australia. I don't have a lot to contribute by way of technical expertise but I'm interested to hear of other peoples problems and solutions.

I came here after having a problem with USB3 that turned out to be an outdated driver that couldn't be found in the usual places.

I run Windows 7 and do a bit of BASIC programming with QB64, and have a website called The Olden Days (hope that doesn't count as spam!).

I'll see you on-board.

G'day from the East, Phil! Thanks for joining up and introducing yourself. It's fine to mention a personal website in your introductory post, as long as it's not a commercial website.

Maybe I should have a look at QB64. I was a recreational programmer many years ago, QuickBasic 4.5 in DOS.
