randomly hearing the sound "Default Beep"... could i be hacked?

My computer is making a beeping sound at random times. I wouldn't be really worried but I have never heard my computer make this sound before by itself, and earlier some guy told me he was going to hack me...could it be related?  

 

How would i be able to check if these sounds are related to being infected
