Hello, i was being able to experience a wired activity on my system when i put my PC to sleep. I have installed a application called Net Speed Monitor to record my data usages via ethernet and it does the job pretty well. But, one thing i have noticed is, i have actually noted the data values recorded on Net speed monitor before putting the computer to sleep ( Upload = 7494 MB , Down - 15055 MB, Total - 22549 MB ) and i have put computer to sleep for 30 mins and when i re-login and when i checked the values ( Upload = 10780 MB , Down - 16449 MB, Total - 27229 MB ) and again i have repeated the computer to sleep and the values are (  Upload = 14069 MB , Down - 17860 MB, Total - 31930 MB ). What cause data counter to raise (Count) even though when computer on sleep. As far as i know when computer is on sleep mode no activity will take place and that includes ethernet too. Is this a bug in the software or is there any malware or what actually cause the wired problem. I am really confused will this affect my data usage of ISP side. Is there any way to determine my ethernet is being used on sleep. Operating system - Windows 10. Thanks.

Network activity occurs regularly, regardless of whether your system is in sleep mode.

Thank you for your explanation. Is this activity uses huge amount of data, my system on sleep uses 1.5 to 2 GB of data on sleep and i have also checked uploads are higher then download when system on sleep mode. Also i have disabled wake up by LAN disabled still it does the same job. I have strong guess it may be a software bug.
