I use Real Alternative rather than Real Player and thought I had thoroughly uninstalled Real Player. However I've noticed that I have a folder called Real in the Documents and Settings/[user name]/Application Data folder. This is empty apart from another folder called RealMediaSDK, which is also empty. I have tried deleting the folder a couple of times but it seems to be re-created every time I boot my PC! I don't know what this folder is or whether I need it. If not, how can I stop it being created? I am using Windows XP SP2

Your "Realmedia Alternative" is most likely creating these folders if you have uninstalled the Realmedia product.
